Health Benefits

The soluble fibre provided by Psyllium is beneficial in the lowering of blood cholesterol in people with raised cholesterol levels, while it also promotes a healthy colony of good gut bacteria. Because Psyllium is a prebiotic – a requirement for healthy probiotics to grow – it can aid in the prevention of infection, reduction of inflammation and support of good general health.

Psyllium husk may also help with weight loss because, as it absorbs liquid in your body, it can offer the feeling of being full, without the additional calories.
